If you have been affected by the government shutdown please see below for ways we can help.
Who is affected?
The partial shutdown affects all non-essential federal government employees. This means people like TSA agents, park rangers, and food safety inspectors, as well as whole federal agencies like the IRS are going without pay.
Working families cannot always make ends meet. The federal government shutdown has highlighted this serious problem in our country.
As federal employees and contractors face missing yet another paycheck and other working but poor families face losing federal nutrition assistance, we are treating this situation as an emergency…because it is. Help us support families whose lives have been and will be disrupted and derailed through a lingering shutdown.
